In this big, bad land of serious skincare (L.A.) a little apothocary in silver lake called Le Pink really stands out for me. Now, I have to admit… I am la-zy when it comes to caring for my skin. I don’t moisturize as much as I should, I wear no make up & very little sunscreen – so honestly, I barely think about it. This is why I need serious facials – to undo all the ick that has accumulated as a result of my neglect. And I have to say Le Pink is my favorite spot for just such a treatment! I had strayed for awhile, trying all sorts of eco-facials across town (Ona & Ra spas are both the tops – amazing treatments & luxe facilities), but just the other day I came back to my ‘hood favorite, Le Pink… only to find – they’ve gone ORGANIC!!!!

I indulged in the “Hippie Go Lucky” facial, $110 (and yes, everything there is super “cute”… not typically my m.o., but it works for them). It’s a custom job,specialized to your skin & needs. I was seriously exfoliated, enzyme-peeled, apple masqued then ultra-hydrated and let me tell you… my skin feels & looks A-MAZ-ING. They use a line called Eminence Organics – of which I’m already a big fan. For you L.A. dollies, go to Le Pink, ask for Heather… she knows her ish.
