February’s Green With Giveaway: The Watson Twins gift set!
We are just thrilled offer our glorious readers, fans & clients an exciting new giveaway for Feb… The Watson Twins gift set – which, hang tight, includes a copy of TWT’s AMAZING, NEW CD (yet to be released), Talking To You, Talking To Me!
Gorgeous, right? Stunning photography by Dan Monick. Brilliant artwork by Desi Moore.
What critics are saying about the new album…
SPIN MAGAZINE: “Taking a cue from Shelby Lynne, the Watsons consult vintage Southern styles for inspiration, incorporating touches of country and plenty of hot-blooded soul. The only problem with “Calling Out,” “Forever Me,” and other alluring tracks is that they end too soon — the sultry vocals, churchy organ, and stinging electric guitar of “Midnight” leave you craving more.”
ELLE MAGAZINE: “Their soulful harmonies are at the center of a sparkling pop sound that has a Memphis-meets-L.A. texture and hooks that work their charms on you instantly.”
MARIE CLAIRE MAGAZINE:
“As sisters Chandra and Leigh’s harmonies wrap around hissing cymbals and jazzy guitar, this languorous, closing-time cabaret song builds into a long slow good-night kiss to melt all your late-winter blues.”
AND you’ll win a copy of their mellifluous 2008 cd, Fire Songs…
AND a top secret, yet-to-be-released cotton tote bag (also designed by Desi Moore)!
YAY!

The Watson Twins first EP, Southern Manners, is not to be missed either. There have been afternoons at work where I’ve listened to nothing but those 8 tracks on repeat.
Very productive afternoons, I might add.

Love them! The track, “Midnight” on the new album is mind-blowingly good. I think I just might have to pick up a ticket to see them at the Fold. Good luck to all.

My daughter turned me on to the Watson Twins first when they were singing with Jenny Lewis…..and I have been a fan ever since. I too am from Louisville and so glad to see you recognize wonderful talent and promote them with your living green way of life.
I am not going to be in Louisville unfortunately when they are in Louisville.

I have had the opportunity to meet Chandra and Leigh on several occasions. I am psyched they have been getting so much attention lately. They are always so nice, and with all the hard work they have done they deserve the attention.

Chandra and Leigh are our nieces. Naturally we are among their number one fans personally and professionally. The sweetness and warmth are as genuine as it gets. They are all about loving their family, friends and fans. I have already ordered numerous CDs, but wanted to comment just the same. All of you should be blessed with wonderful women like TWT in your family.

I love TWT! It’s that timeless down-to-earth quality that just grabs me every time I hear their songs. I’ve been trying to keep myself from downloading all those singles and free songs from the album floating around so I can just listen to the whole CD when it comes out but it’s so hard to wait.

Chandra and Leigh Watson are so genuinely kind and sweet!! Their beautifully-gifted vox and crafty songwriting comes together in music that is timeless. They are well worth experiencing live, even if you have to travel hundreds of miles.
